Flood Warning
Issued by the National Weather Service at 10:23 PM CST on March 13, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river at Demopolis lock and dam.
* Until late Wednesday night... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Saturday the stage was 71.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 68.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 73.3 feet by
early Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage early
Wednesday afternoon.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Black Warrior river at Selden lock and dam.
* Until Thursday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:00 PM Saturday the stage was 97.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 90.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 98.2 feet by
early Monday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
Wednesday night.
* Impact... at 98.0 feet... some Cabins and trailers along the river
begin to flood at stages of 98 feet and greater
