When you see the rocks along the shore up close and personal it becomes obvious why you would need a lighthouse here.... Green Point Light - Built in 1883, it consisted of a round iron tower, a lightkeepers cottage and a storehouse. Originally lit by oil lamps, it has passed through electricity and is now fully automated with solar charged batteries.
